This page summarizes how GameOfChess approaches payment security and data protection compliance. It is a summary for our users, not a substitute for our full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. Payment card security
All card and payment details are entered directly on our payment processor's own checkout page and handled under their PCI-DSS compliance program. GameOfChess's servers never receive or store your full card number, CVV, or expiry date.
2. Account security
Passwords are never stored in plain text. Email addresses are verified before an account can sign in. Access to administrative and organization-management functions is restricted by role.
3. Data protection
We collect only the information described in our Privacy Policy. Users in India are additionally covered by our DPDP Act notice.
4. Fair play & platform integrity
Rated games and tournaments rely on honest play. Accounts found using engine assistance or other unfair means may be suspended, per our Terms of Service.
